Report Minimum

After completing a survey, the results are made available in aggregated form. This means that in the reports, the responses of the participants are summarized according to evaluation units.

The results of an evaluation unit are only made available if a minimum number of participants have responded. Depending on the survey type, an evaluation unit can be an organizational unit (in the case of an employee or pulse survey) or a participant type (e.g., in the case of 360° feedback). This minimum number of participants is called the report minimum.

Each participant type has its own report minimum. Even in the case of an employee or pulse survey, the report minimum for the organizational units is stored per participant type. The configured report minimum can be seen in the respective template under “Graphical Adjustment”. A change of the report minimum is only possible by authorized persons via the account manager.

Usually, the report minimum for participant types with multiple persons is 3. This default value was chosen because it is no longer possible to calculate the responses of individual participants above this lower limit.

For participant types with exactly one (1) participant, the lower evaluation limit is 1. This is the case, for example, with 360° feedback for the “supervisor” participant type (feedback recipient). The responses of the supervisor are therefore not subject to a report minimum in 360° feedback.

If the report minimum of an evaluation unit has not been reached, the results for this evaluation unit are not provided.

In the case of 360° feedback with several participant types with several people (e.g. employees, colleagues), if the lower evaluation limit is not reached, the participants of these participant types are automatically combined to still reach the report minimum if possible. Participant types with exactly one (1) participant are not automatically combined by default.

In the case of employee or pulse surveys, the responses of participants from organizational units that have not reached the report minimum are included in the results of the higher-level organizational unit. This can lead to so-called negative selection, which must be avoided.
